Job Summary
Vaniado is looking for a creative and technically skilled Kitchen Designer to transform client’s spaces into functional, beautiful kitchens. You will meet with clients, assess their needs, create 2D/3D designs, select materials and appliances, and produce final technical drawings for installation teams. This role blends interior design expertise with practical knowledge of kitchen workflows and building codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand cooking habits, storage needs, and aesthetic preferences
• Measure existing kitchen spaces and identify structural constraints (plumbing, electrical, load-bearing walls)
• Create detailed 2D floor plans and 3D renderings using design software (e.g., 2020 Design, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Select cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, and appliances within client budgets
• Generate material lists, cut sheets, and installation guides for installers
• Coordinate with plumbers and electricians to ensure design feasibility
• Present designs to clients and revise based on feedback
• Stay current on kitchen trends, materials, and appliance technology

Requirements 

• 2+ years of kitchen or interior design experience
• Proficiency in at least one kitchen design software (2020 Design, AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, or Cedreo)
• Strong understanding of kitchen ergonomics (work triangle, clearance zones, accessibility)
• Knowledge of cabinetry construction, countertop materials, and appliance specifications
• Excellent visual communication and presentation skills.
